The museum has its origins in 1924 with the “corner of Ilyich”, established in the memory of VI Ulyanov (Lenin). In 1992, the museum-apartment of Lenin Museum was reorganized into the history of the revolutionary-democratic movement. In 2006, with the opening of new museum exhibitions was called “all ranks Petersburg”
