Hundreds of amazing art objects and sculptures in glass and ceramics, created by artists from around the world will exhibit in the open air on the territory of Yelagin Island. Festival will be held from 12 to 14 June.
Festival will be held in St. Petersburg in the 12 times. On the lawn in front of the palace Elaginsky grow a real glass city, inhabited by strange animals and people are clear and upward surge of multicolored glass castles that are shimmering in the sun, take the audience into a magical world of fantasy.
Participants amazing open air will be several hundred masters domestic and European arts and crafts, who have chosen the fragile glass and exquisite ceramics to create their works. They will decorate the green expanse of the park with their latest masterpiece, which in combination with the landscape Elaginoostrovsky palace ensemble and landscape complex will gain new dimensions and impregnated with a special charm. Naturally, any conventional vases, plates and tea sets will not be here. The artists and glassblowers to bring a spectacular glass sculptures: fantastic beetles, prehistoric dinosaurs, futuristic art objects made of ceramics and much more
By the way, this year the exhibition will complement the new additions to the Museum of Glass Art
