Exhibition Interpretation Sharaku. Contemporary Japanese artists All lovers of oriental culture and Japan in particular, is dedicated. The exhibition, which will be held from 1 to 30 March, and will dedicate Japanese artists (works are more than 80, including such legends as Sharaku Takeshi Murakami and – so to speak from the 18th century to the present day).
In particular, most of the work is devoted to him – the artist who lived the XIII century, the portrait painter who painted prints in the style of ukiyo-e – Sharaku. Most of his works seem to be funny and not very serious – do not be naive, it’s a classic. The exhibition can be divided into three parts: “Reproductions of Sharaku”, “Sharaku in the graphic arts” and “worship of Sharaku”. The first part consists of 28 prints of actors’ portraits created by Sharaku. In the other two – the work of contemporary Japanese artists. 28 graphic designers and 11 artists (including the famous Takeshi Murakami) created a variety of interpretations on the theme of creativity Tosyusaya Sharaku. Total will appear in front of guests and eighty-one
exhibit within the exhibition and to finalize the special events will take place:
