Center presents the work of renowned masters of Russian and foreign photographers. Addition exhibited as works of young talented artists in these pictures close to the genres of contemporary art such as video art, photo installation, animation, experimental films.
Important direction in the activity of ROSPHOTO are exhibition and research projects that address not only the exposition, but also scientific problems, to create a monograph examining the photo in volume historical and artistic context.
ROSPHOTO develops methods and technology of storage, conservation and restoration that will optimally solve problems of any Russian the museum’s collection, private collection or archive photos and negatives. The scientific restoration laboratory at ROSPHOTO are trained young professionals, conducted practical work for the restoration and preservation of photographs.
