Apartment Museum of the outstanding scientist is a reflection of his life. Unfortunately, the apartment could not save the whole, remained intact only the periodic study. This is where he lived and worked as a professor teaching at the University. The initiator of this idea was the wife of the scientist, which provided most of the exhibits, as well as the Russian Chemical Society, which buy things and archives scientist. In addition to home-made devices you can see an extensive library (more than 20 thousand books) and unique copies autographed by Mendeleev and other prominent scientists. It is open Monday through Thursday from 11:00 to 16:00.
