The museum features a total of 12 bicycles that belonged to Russian emperors and their family.
It is located in one of the oldest houses in Peterhof which was built in 1796. In addition to quite ordinary bicycles you can see some peculilar ones. For instance, a French ”Boneshaker” with wooden wheels Alexander III used to ride or spider bicycles with front wheels 50 cm in diameter. The museum also presents a variety of things that somehow evoke the image of a bicycle: stamps, cards, cufflinks etc.
