The park, named in honor of Prince Kurakin, located in the Nevsky district. Attraction of the park is a pond and building Nikolaev Institute, erected in the late 18th century. Rebuilt in the mid-19th century, the building stood abandoned for a long time, but burned in 2006. After that the building restored in stone, it decided to place din “Children’s Hospice».
Also in the park preserved building of junior classes of the Institute, after the reconstruction of it is located in the school.
