Originally made of wood, stone and now it stands at the very tip of the island of Kazan
In order to make it more solid, on the orders of Anna Ivanovna here were moved image of Our Saviour, the Shroud, an icon of the Sign.; and the entrance was decorated with bas-reliefs, and for interior decoration added carved iconostasis.
