Chapel of Xenia the Blessed

Chapel of Xenia the Blessed Small in size but huge in importance, this chapel is familiar to all indigenous peterbuzhtsam.
Believed that the earth with her grave has healing properties, so the keepers of the cemetery many times had to fill up the ground, and then set the plate, which also dismantled on the rocks. In 1902, a chapel was built around the site of her burial in the old Russian style. Before the Great Patriotic War it was closed, and only seven years later began to function again. The very modest chapel decorated with mosaics and icons, is topped with gilded onion dome.
